Who are we?

The FABA Blog was created by Heather Green, also know as Silly Heather, of Silly Farm Supplies and her business partner, mentor, and aunt, Marcela “Mama Clown” Murad. The FABA Blog is a place where we could share helpful information that will save you money, help you achieve more with your business, and inspire you to share with others.

As active face and body artists, female entrepreneurs, and working mothers we have years of real life, on the job experience. We hope to help you avoid costly mistakes and encourage you to keep on building your empire.

Our blog topics are based on questions fellow painters ask us, on the job hiccups, and informational black holes that need filling.

We encourage you to participate, share your ideas, and send us articles. We love to hear from you and together we can paint the world happy!

About Us

About 24 years ago, Marcela “Mama Clown” started a face painting supply business in the kitchen of her home. After years of traveling and teaching the art of face painting, Marcela took her niece and aspiring clown under her wing and taught her the ropes.

In 2006 Marcela sold her shop to Heather after she complete college and together they built Silly Farm Supplies, the worlds largest retailer of face and body art supplies. Heather went on to create FABAtv, the only online classroom for everything face and body art education. Together, they co-produce the Face and Body Art International Convention, alongside Deidre MacDonald and Claudia Banks. Heather and Marcela are fun loving business women that thrive off of sharing and helping fellow painters reach their goals. They enjoy hearing from you so please feel free to email them at Marcela@fabaic.com and Heather@sillyfarm.com and make sure to visit us on facebook and become a fan.
